Egyptian Tax Authority has reached a decision regarding the e-Receipt system and released a list that includes fourth group of responsible taxpayers for this newly released rule. According to the schedule, the decision will come into force as of April 15, 2023. Mokhtar Tawfiq, head of the Egyptian Tax Authority, explained that an electronic receipt system is an electronic centralized system that allows tax authorities to track and verify all commercial transactions relating to the sale of goods and the provision of services between sellers and consumers (B2C) in sales and service centers.
