As it is known, the Slovakian Government is dedicated to switch to electronic invoicing as in other European countries and they are preparing for this. The solution was introduced in the presentation made by the Ministry of Finance on May 5, 2022. In the presentation, the general test operation of the IS EFA prototype and OpenAPI for assured electronic invoicing were the topics that were handled. While more details are still expected to be announced by the government, the IS EFA test operation was to begin in September. However, this date has been postponed to December 2022. In addition, the obligation date for B2G transactions will also be delayed by 3 months, starting April 2023 instead of January 2023. The newly published implementation stages are as follows;
- In May 5, 2022 public test operation of IS EFA prototype and OpenAPI launched for guaranteed electronic invoicing system
- In December 2022 the IS EFA test operation will start
- In April 2023 the IS EFA test operation available for other budgetary organizations of the Ministry of Finance,
- Later on The IS EFA test operation will be available for other entities of the state and public administration.
