The Greek Government has amended the implementation timeline for Greece e-delivery under decision A.1122/31.7.2024. The electronic transport document (e-CMR) will ensure transparency and security in logistics by enabling real-time shipment monitoring. Key updates are about the implementation timeline:
Until March 31, 2025, entities in the first phase may transmit data voluntarily. Mandatory data transmission for entities with over €200,000 gross income or trading specific goods (e.g., pharmaceuticals, energy products) begins April 1, 2025. Initial phase will focus on basic shipping document functionality.
From May 1, 2025, second-phase entities may begin voluntary transmission for the next stage.Voluntary transmission for second-phase entities is allowed until September 30, 2025.
Full compliance for all entities is required by October 1, 2025.
Certain older requirements will be phased out starting April 1, 2025, with full discontinuation by October 1, 2025. A smoother transition to digital monitoring while minimizing the burden on affected entities will be ensured with this adjustment.
