The Ministry of Finance and the Tax Administration of Croatia has developed a new financial project with the aims of adapting to the digital age, enabling VAT integration, keeping e-Archives, online records of VAT and paying cashless via e-Invoice. According to the implementation plan of this project, it is expected that the project will be finalised in 2024. Some of the plans to be implemented within the scope of this project are as follows;
1- Establishment of an account for the declaration of non-cash accounts issued by state bodies to the tax office and the financialization of accounts organized for the execution of B2G transactions.
2- To pay cashless via electronic account in the accounts where B2B transactions are made, to keep an active ledger record in the VAT system and to design an integrated e-archive
3- Designing a free application for small taxpayers to issue e-Invoices.
With the implementation of this new project, the following benefits are aimed; simplified tax returns, transparent business and payments, credit checks, switching from a paper-archive to a digital-archive.
