The Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) has recently issued a mandate, effective from August 25, 2023, requiring certain taxpayers in villages and tourist areas along the northern coast to generate electronic tax receipts (e-receipt) for services rendered or products sold to end consumers.
According to decision no (498) touristic areas are as below:
- Stella Heights
- Amwaj
- Hacienda
- Porto Golf Marina
- Mountain View
- Marassi
- Porto Marina
- Zahran Commercial Center
- Rozana Commercial Center
Dr. “Fayez Al-Daba’ani” said that this system will also be useful for taxpayers, who should contact the competent authority for any questions and problems. They must also comply with the rules published so far.
