The French Tax Administration is advancing its e-invoicing and e-reporting system. With the last update, version 2.2 of the e-Invoicing technical specifications has been announced on January 31, 2023. The new documents include corrective flows of e-reporting, additional clarifications on the APIs, updated descriptions of the formats as well as more additional mandatory information.
The implementation of the new system will start in July 2024 for large taxpayers and will be followed by medium-sized and small companies in January 2025 and January 2026 respectively. Additionally, it will be mandatory to receive e-invoices starting from July 2024 regardless of the size of the company.
