Greece Postpones e-Delivery Deadlines under myDATA

The Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance, together with the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), has announced the postponement of key deadlines for the digital issuance and transmission of inventory movement documents (shipping notes) via the myDATA platform. The changes are intended to give businesses more time to prepare for compliance with the new e-transport obligations.

Updated Deadlines:

  • Phase A – Digital issuance and transmission of shipping notes:

    • Until 1 June 2025: Optional for first group of obligated taxpayers (turnover over €200,000, excluding specific categories such as foreign subsidiaries using parent ERPs, and businesses dealing with pharmaceuticals, energy products, and construction materials)

    • From 2 June 2025: Mandatory for first group of obligated taxpayers

    • Until 30 November 2025: Optional for all other businesses

    • From 1 December 2025: Mandatory for all other businesses

  • Phase B – Digital monitoring of movement, transhipments and delivery of goods:

    • From 1 August to 30 November 2025: Optional for all businesses

    • From 1 December 2025: Mandatory for all businesses

The original go-live dates were 1 April 2025 for Phase A and 1 October 2025 for Phase B. This extension provides a smoother transition path for all affected taxpayers.
