The Croatian government is introducing a new tax package called “Fiscalization 2.0” next year, which will mandate the use of e-invoicing as a reporting system for VAT. This initiative will broaden the scope of fiscalization, including transactions between businesses (B2B) and between businesses and the state (B2G).
Finance Minister Marko Primorac emphasised that the “Fiscalization 2.0” initiative, which integrates digital platforms and automates tax collection, is designed to enhance efficiency, leading to administrative savings and enhanced transparency.
