The French Ministry of Finance announced that the deadline of the new e-Invoicing System is postponed to an uncertain date.
Discussions regarding new implementation dates of domestic B2B e-Invoicing and e-reporting obligations are still ongoing.
Expected implementation timeline released as follows;
- In first quarter of 2024 first list of approved service provider named PDPs (Plateformes de Dématérialisation Partenaires) will be released.
- Before the end of 2024 development of a government platform named PPF (Portail Public de Facturation) will be completed in a qualification environment.
- Through 2025 pilot phases will be started for the companies regardless of their size.
- In 2026 obligation will begin gradually, expected in March and October 2026 to 2027.
More details are expected after discussion completed, conducted by The National Forum for Electronic Invoicing and Electronic Public Markets (FNFE-MPE).
