The Polish Ministry of Finance has announced the launch of the pre-production (Demo) environment of the KSeF 2.0 Taxpayer Application, available from 15 November 2025. This release marks an important preparatory step ahead of the full production rollout scheduled for 1 February 2026, when e-invoicing will become mandatory across Poland.
The pre-production environment enables taxpayers to test KSeF 2.0 in conditions closely resembling the final production system. Users log in with their real credentials but issue invoices using fictitious data, allowing them to explore all functionalities without generating any legal or tax consequences. Data entered into the system will be periodically deleted.
Key features include the ability to issue, receive, and download invoices based on the FA(3) structure, manage user permissions, handle tokens (valid until the end of 2026), access invoices via QR codes, and visualize or export invoices in XML, HTML, or PDF format.
Importantly, the demo version operates independently from the production MCU module, meaning certificates and authorizations are not interchangeable. The Ministry encourages taxpayers and solution providers to use this environment for testing and feedback.
