The Thai Revenue Department Extends the Deadline for Incentives

In order to encourage the use of the e-tax systems, the Thai government has announced an extension of the incentives. According to the announcement, the deadline of the incentives will be extended to the 31 December of 2025. The incentives include important measures for the taxpayers using e-Tax Invoice, e-Receipt and e-Withholding tax systems. Businesses implementing and using the above systems can benefit the following measures :

  • Double deduction of the investment expenses made for the e-Tax invoice systems and expenses relating to the service providers
  • More withholding tax rate reduction

With the above measures the Thai Revenue department is promoting the use of e-tax invoices which is currently voluntary in the country. These measures apply from 1 January of 2023 until 31 December of 2025.
